On January 5, 2023, Hong Kong-based legal magazine China Business Law Journal (CBLJ) releases the winners of “The A-list 2022”.

The A-List recognises the private practising lawyers that have admirably helped their clients navigating the myriad of worldwide uncertainties, from the pandemic to the looming recession over the past year.

Dr. Huang Hui, Partner and Management Committee member of Wanhuida Intellectual Property is listed in the A-list 2022.

The A-List is based on market feedbacks and nominations the editorial team gleaned from more than 10,000 in-house counsel and corporate executives in China and around the world, partners at PRC and international law firms, as well as legal professionals from a wide range of practices. For the sake of neutrality, all candidates are recommended by clients and peers from the organisations other than those the candidates serve. The editorial team then goes through thousands of nominations received and contacts all nominated lawyers and invites them to submit further materials, including notable performances and significant deals conducted during the past 18 months. The final list is the aggregate result of market nominations, supportive information submitted by the candidates, and independent research conducted by the editorial team.

This year, the A-List includes 150 practitioners of Chinese law and 120 international lawyers committed to China-related business.
